Updated H1N1 Testing Criteria

New criteria for testing has come out on May 29. As of that date there are 18 probable cases of N1H1 reported by the ND Department of Health. Nine cases are Minot residents. Updated criteria for testing are:
1. those presenting with fever >100F and a cough with or without a sore throat and live outside the Minot area.
2. Hospitalized people with fever and respiratory illness in the abscence of a known cause, regardless of place of living or travel.
3. Health care workers with fever and respiratory illness.
