Science Channel and Synthetic Life

Tonight was a very interesting on the Science Channel. It had Craig Ventur and his lab and talked about his breakthrough in the area of synthetic life. I blogged about it when it came out. The show had the ups and downs of his lab in their quest. The start of synthesizing a virus and getting it to work and then the big one, bacteria. The after show with the questions about the pros and cons was good also. Craig Ventur was there as well as science writer Michael Spector and other scientists, journalists and a priest. If you missed it, I hope the science channel airs it again, and if it does I recommend you watch it.
