Australian Health Commission Files Report on AVN

July 13, the New South Wales Health Care Complaints Commission has compiled a report on the Australian Vaccination Network (AVN) stating that they were "providing inaccurate and misleading information and selectively quoting research out of context to argue against vaccines." They also were accused of harassing the parents of Dana McCaffery the 32 day old infant who died last year of whooping cough. The McCaffery's leave fairly close to AVN head quarters, the home of Meryl Dory, a area of deficient levels of vaccination ie. no herd immunity. The AVN almost immediately started harassing the parents of Dana saying she didn't die of whooping cough, even though that is what the doctors diagnosed. This just goes to show the lengths that the antivax crowd will go to get their lies across, to harass the grieving parents of a child. They even go so far as to say that the commission was a pawn of the government. They were in truth independently positioned. Again the antivaxers when something doesn't go their way they spin the facts, lie etc. This is true of all woo purveyors, including religious ones, if something doesn't turn out to support their beliefs, instead of reevaluating the belief based on new evidence they twist the truth and blame the methodology or conspiracy theories. In fact then this only underline one basic tenet, NEVER TRUST THE WOO MERCHANTS.
