The Republicans are using the deficit, the financial crisis to instill their form of theocracy. Ending funding for Planned Parenthood, in Wisconsin ending the teacher union so they can instigate their own education plan that will include God and creationism, vouchers for faith based charities and schools among others. This is a coordinated attack on the values of this country and what the founders saw. They are redrawing maps for representatives so they the Republicans have full control of the government bodies. If anything will cause riots in the streets of the US like in the middle east it is the Republican rich cats who are in the pockets of corporations to change the laws and government to their liking so they can get richer at the expense of the poor, children and middle class. Be warned and mark the words the reckoning will be coming.
