Psyhics

Wonderful meeting with our guest Mr. Dustin White, from Fargo. A magician and mentalist in the tradition of James Randi. He gave a great talk about how mentalists or psychics function. Also showed a few simple magic tricks. I love magic, I know it is a trick, but a master can make you almost believe in it. We need more like Dustin White and James Randi to show the trickery and scam of psychics and such. We had an interesting discussion afterwards with one person believing in psychics. It is interesting to see how such people function. Their beliefs drive their perceptions. This is true for all such beliefs from psychics, to astrologers to religion. Dustin is majoring in religion and Greek. He is fascinated by religion as I am, not because it is true, but because it causes perfectly normal thinking people to warp their cognitive skills to conform to their beliefs. And sad to say but we must say Good Bye to MSS. The blog will continue, until sometime in the future MSS may resurrect as it were in the future.
