Last nights meeting and presentation by Nick Trumbauer was excellent. He gave a fair and evidence based appraisal of the situation of global oil. The top 10 oil producing countries. What the production in the fields is actually doing and how long they last. It was very informative. The take home message is that we are currently at peak and production will gradually decline. This means gas prices will only continue to rise. Unfortunately, we probably will be oil dependant for very long time, even with alternative energy sources. Politics, economics, geology, and other factors play into this very complicated matter. And it affects us all, whether we want it to or not. Cudos to Nick for an excellent presentation.
