Activists Assaulted At Hawaii State Capitol (4/29/2010)

This is an awful abuse of power. So much for tolerance by religion. It went to trial and the judge said they the sargent at arms of the Hawii senate and guards violated the state and federal constitition and the protestor was not guilty as he was speaking as his right by the first amendment of the U.S. and State of Hawii constitition, that is freedom of speech. I just think the guards and sargent at arms should be prosecuted.

I don't know what that loud mouth was saying but he shouldn't be disturbing the court. Dodo's comment leads me to believe that loud mouth was protesting the petition to god. If his reason is because he is an atheist then why does he feel he has a right to protest as all rights come from god not from man.

First it was not a court it was the 50th state legislature. The loud mouth was just saying that it was a violation of the Separation of Church and State to do prayer in a government body. Next rights come from man, not God. We come up with rights and they have changed through out history and culture. If they did come from God shouldn't they have been more uniform though out the ages?
