The talk was well attended and Dr. Avalos is a good speaker. Even if you don't agree with him, at least he made you think. He has a logical argument while being at times quite funny. The picture is of him and his lovely wife Cindy at the Scandinavian Heritage park. He is multilingual, knowing some Norwegian and Danish as well. The making you think is what the society is all about. He signed some books. Later we will post a video of the talk on this blog. The people were very warm and helpful and everyone agreed the Carnegie Center is a good venue for talks.
