Just on the news the catholic archdiocese of Bismark and Mandan are sponsoring a bill they call strengthening religious freedom. In reality it is a bill to encourage medical providers to refuse to give a prescription for or fill a prescription for birth control. They are playing word games and really want to keep women pregnant and in the kitchen and out of society. This clearly a move designed to promote a religious idea about contraception and birth control, not religious freedom. But if you call it one thing and mean something else, maybe you can get the gullible to sign the petition for it to go on the ballot in November. If you see such a petition I would encourage you not to sign it and point out the problem to those there.
