Voodoo Histories: A Book Review

David Aaronovitch is a journalist with many accolades to his credit and I think he can add one more. This book is interesting, compelling, funny and scary dive into the murky waters of conspiracy theories. As a guide to understanding the psychology, sociology and deeper meaning of what is going on in the world of conspiracy theories, I recommend this book. At times it is very hilarious and other times very terrifying. From the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" through the Pearl Harbor and JFK assassination myths to the current day truthers and birthers this book gives one, if not the answer to such theories, but at least the understanding of how and why such conspiracy theories exist. It is a definite must read for the skeptic.
